One Book, One Marin Reception in our Reading Room
Wednesday evening, Archbishop Alemany Library welcomed Abraham Verghese and the One Book, One Marin committee, sponsors and guests for a reception prior to the culminating event for One Book, One Marin at Dominican University. Abraham Verghese, author of Cutting for Stone, conversed with Michael Krasney to a full house at Angelico Hall (over 800 people in attendance). In conversation with Michael Krasney, Verghese spoke eloquently about his book, writing the novel and the story, and his values as a practicing physician. Quite an inspiring night.
