Mary B. Marcy Ph.D -- Announced as the New President of Dominican University of California

Currently serving as provost of Bard College of Simon's Rock in Massachusetts, Dr. Marcy will serve a the 9th President of Dominican University of California when the current President, Joe Fink, retires at the end of the current academic year.


From her biography on the Simon's Rock website:

"A political scientist with a Doctorate of Philosophy and Master of Philosophy from the University of Oxford, Marcy conducts ongoing research on women in American politics, and has also published extensively on issues of diversity, leadership, and strategy in higher education. She was born and raised in western Nebraska, and received her Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Nebraska."
